HP announced new communication, collaboration and networking solutions to drive growth for small and midsize businesses (SMBs). New HP solutions that advance the convergence of servers, storage, networking and management include:

HP V1410 Switch simplifies how networks are built, managed and deployed, while providing up to a 451% return on investment. With eight-, 16- and 24-port gigabit options, V1410 delivers reliable "plug & play" connectivity among client PCs, servers & storage devices.
HP StorageWorks X310 Data Vault improves productivity with local & remote file access for up to 10 PC clients in addition to Macs. HP also announced three new lower cost Data Vault models, which aim to provide a more relevant and streamlined experience for SMBs and SOHOs. Pricing for X310 is set at $549, whilst the X312 comes in at 399 Euros. Pricing for the X311 is yet to be announced. HP also launched a low cost home server last year in the shape of the LX195 Media Smart Server, which utilised a completely single drive different chassis, and relied on external USB drives for storage expansion.

  
 
  

HP StorageWorks X1000 Network Storage System improves storage capacity utilization by providing up to twice drives of previous generations in half the space – all at a 44% lower price.
HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 SAS Modular Array (MSA) delivers increased performance and double the capacity of previous generation. It features latest 6Gb Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology to provide shared storage consolidation without additional networking cost or expertise traditionally required to run a SAN.
