"Quick Steps" in Outlook 2010 are the timesaving features, that you can use to perform frequent tasks, involving multiple steps, such as filing messages in specific folders or flagging messages for follow up and sending reply. You can assign keyboard shortcuts to most frequently used quick steps or click quick step buttons using your mouse. Outlook includes a list of predefined Quick Steps to get you started and you can add new ones, modify existing or delete ones that aren't useful.
To create new Quick Step, "click on scroll bar in Quick Steps command, choose New Quick Step. It's easiest to start with one of predefined steps, customize it, or you can choose Custom, start with blank quick step.
If you pick one of standard Quick Step types, you'll get a simple dialog and can press Options to expand dialog, add additional steps. Choose Manage Quick Steps from Quick Steps menu and you'll be able to edit & delete, create new quick steps, and rearrange order they appear in ribbon so most used quick steps are listed first in the ribbon," writes Microsoft.
