Digg finally launched a 'official' WordPress plugin and Drupal module for Digg. "These extensions are based on our recently updated Digg buttons and widgets, which offer significantly improved performance over our previous solutions and a much better experience for interacting with Digg on other websites. Together, they help drive traffic to publishers' content by allowing easy Digging and submission into the Digg ecosystem," writes Digg.

Out of the box, you can: Place yellow smart Digg buttons in three size options: compact, medium and large; Generate a customized Digg widget with different placement options. Widget generator can show most Dugg content by domain, topic, search term or even show a particular user's Dugg stories. After selecting type of content to display, it's easy to save that state and decide where to position it on a page.
