HP launched two slick new desktop PCs and some updates to its multi-touch ready TouchSmart PC:
- HP All-in-One, is a nice balance of form & function, offers traditional desktop power in smaller & sleeker package. And is packed with 21.5”, 1080p display, integrated everything (mic, webcam, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, premium speakers, super-multi DVD drive), for $699.
- HP Compaq 6005 Pro Ultra Slim desktop (USDT) PC is targeted at business users, and makes great strides in both design and in terms of “greenness”. This’s completely BFR/PVC free, and packed with environmentally-friendly features like an 87%-efficient power supply, preinstalled software tools HP Power Assistant & new integrated side port memory that enhances energy savings by putting CPU into deep sleep at idle. 6005 USDT is Energy Star qualified and is EPEAT registered. Under the hood are powerful Integrated, DirectX 10-ready ATI Radeon 4200 graphics, DDR3 memory, DASH 1.1, a Mini PCIe x1 slot, and 10 USB ports. Price starting at $599 starting April 26th.
- HP TouchSmart 300 and 600 PCs. TouchSmart 600 has stunning 23” multi-touch display, powered by Intel’s Core i3 and i5 processors. TouchSmart 600 was engineered in partnership with Dr. Dre’s Beats project to reproduce the sound quality found in music studios. TouchSmart 300, also now feature several updates to the built-for-touch applications, plus two new touch applications - Paint It! by Corel and Roxio CinemaNow.
