Google have now enabled directions in 111 new countries and territories across the globe (see pic). So, whether you find yourself in Lima, Peru or visiting Iceland or driving from Johannesburg to Nairobi, you can now use Google Maps to find out how to get around.

UK, London air traffic authorities and across Europe have closed the airspace due to an enormous ash cloud originating from the eruption of Eyjafjallajoekull volcano in Iceland. “NASA MODIS Rapid Response system collected an image showing the eruption site sending “huge plume of ash” up into the atmosphere towards Europe - and major airways used by thousands of aircraft each day, and is available for download in Google Earth,” revealed Google.
