Artists will create an image depicting their love of soccer - independent from any team they support. All Australian doodles will be entered into a local competition. Google employees from Australia will select top 10 doodles, which’ll then be put to public vote to identify national winner. Winning entry’ll be displayed on Australia homepage for 24hrs on 13 Jun, 2010, and national winner’ll then be forward to global final, with opportunity to have their Doodle displayed to billions of people worldwide on 11 Jul, 2010. Global and runner up will win amazing prizes! To participate: • Go to google.com.au/doodle4google - download Google logo template, which also acts as entry and parental consent form • Create a doodle that portrays love for the soccer (not a specific country or team - doodles mustn't include soccer team badges, country flags or mascots) • Name your entry • Fill in entry & consent form and make sure to have it signed by artist’s parent • Post to: PO Box 7005, Wetherill Park, NSW 1851 by Monday May 3rd, 2010,” states Google.
