Microsoft announced a Public Private Partnership between FCC, SBA, several industry partners, and SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to helping accelerate small business growth. SCORE managed PPP, like Digital Adoption Coalition, also recognizes transformational role that broadband can play in shaping both 'economy & society' at large. “Microsoft’s participation includes a contribution of $200,000 in cash for 2 years, $1 million software contribution, and providing PPP access to unparalleled ecosystem of over 300k partners, including 6,500 SBs specialists, across US. These specialists’re focused on helping SB customers drive innovation, save money, increase profitability and deliver innovative solutions. Through PPP, SCORE will’ve access to Microsoft apps such as SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, BizTalk, OCS, and Office – giving it ability to renovate its online resources to better support American SBs and achieve objectives of FCC/SBA’s PPP,” notes Teresa Carlson.
