Real-time info for computer-security geeks: Microsoft's Security Response Center, the team that investigates and addresses reports of online threats against (and vulnerabilities in) the company's software, has launched a Twitter account: @MSFTSecResponse. “We’ll use this account to augment content here on the blog. For e.g., we’ll use account to rapidly respond to emerging issues while we’re gathering information for a more complete blog post. In addition, we’ll also use account as a way to push content to our followers quickly. You probably willn’t see us responding to each reply or request that we get but we’ll be listening there and when we see emerging issues and trends, we’ll respond in a more general way to the entire community,” notes MSCR.
