Microsoft confirmed plans for a 64GB Zune HD portable media player, starting April 12th you’ll be able to order a 64GB version Zune HD from Zune Originals for $349.99. All colors ‘Platinum, Black, Blue, Red, Green, Purple or Magenta’ and custom etching will be available for you to create the ultimate Zune HD to your liking. Microsoft also announce a $20 price drop for each of existing Zune HD models, lowering 16GB version to $199.99 (from $219.99) and 32GB to $269.99 (from $289.99). Combined, the moves make the Zune look pretty good compared with Apple's iPod lineup -- that said, Apple sells 64GB iPod touch for $399, and 32GB version for $299. Apple's 160GB iPod Classic sells for $249.
