As a part of the debut of the SQL Server 2008 R2 Community Tour, a special full-day Microsoft R2 Launch Event has been planned for PASS European Conference 2010 in Neuss, Germany. According to Microsoft, PASS is the place to be for SQL Server customers who’re interested in evolution of company’s data platform. “During Launch Event, Farmer will unveil how R2 enables highly scalable and well managed BI on a self-service basis. Steffen Krause will join Farmer to explore R2’s new Multi-Server Management capabilities, which help scale database operations and improve IT and developer efficiency. Microsoft’s Bob Ward and Adam Saxton will be leading two other pre-conference seminars, covering SQL Server DBA tools and SQL Server Reporting Services.
