Preparing for the upcoming product announcements at F8 Developer Conference in April, Facebook already started testing out a lot of the new stuff with third party developers. One of the new features that allow other websites to integrate with Facebook is the extension of Facebook Connect and the Facebook API. They're starting to allow publishers to add a universal "like" button, so you can give a thumbs up to anything on the web, and have it tied back to your Facebook account.
