Microsoft rolls out its overhauled MSN to more than 100 million users in the U.S., with more than 30 tweaks and new features. The new MSN homepage cuts through the clutter with a clean, new design and offers search, news, local and social networking – all in one place. “Bing plays prominently into the redesign, with a big orange button labeled "Web Search" next to Bing search box at the top. Other new features: TrendWatch – Highlights the day’s top trends and movers on Twitter; Hyper-local Tweets – Uses Bing to highlight tweets from your location; My Cities – Personalize MSN Local Edition and save up to three cities to follow. MSN will also personalize news headlines based on the previous viewing habits of a particular user -- highlighting entertainment news.
