Australia's young technology minds are being urged to register for the 2010 Imagine Cup. Open to students around the world, the Imagine Cup is a serious challenge that draws incredible talent, and the competition is intense. Now in its eighth year, the Imagine Cup has grown to be a global event. The Microsoft initiative, open to students 16 years and older, is the world's premier student technology competition, encouraging young people to apply their imagination, their passion and their creativity to bring to life technology innovations that can make a difference in the today's world. This year's theme is 'Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems.' The competition categories include: Software Design; Embedded Development; Game Design; Digital Media; IT Challenge.
