Microsoft Internet Explorer team, sent flowers to the widely publicized "funeral" being held on March 4th to mark the passing of one of their own, Internet Explorer 6. "Thanks for the good times IE6," the card reads. "See you all @ MIX when we show a little piece of IE Heaven." While it might seem unusual for a company to take part in a veiled celebration of the death of one of its products, the fact is that Microsoft is just as happy as anyone else to see IE6 riding into the sunset, and perhaps more. The company has urged people and companies to move to newer, more secure versions of the browser.
