The PayPal / India issues are still pending and there’s no update, as to when ‘one can expect the end of this ugly situation’. Meanwhile, PayPal is introducing a way to pay in for “Facebook Ads and Facebook Credits.” This agreement makes it easier for advertisers, particularly small international companies, to use Facebook Ads to reach the more than 400 million people actively using Facebook, 70% of whom live outside the United States. PayPal will also become a payment option for Facebook’s virtual currency, Facebook Credits, which’s currently being tested in a small number of games and applications. PayPal has been trying to establish a greater presence in micropayments. Other payment options for Facebook include standard credit cards and mobile phones (using Zong).
