Home Server Show has a great walkthrough for sharing your Outlook Calendars on Windows Home Server’s remote access website. The walkthrough involves a little bit of work with the IIS settings on your home server, so is for seasoned tinkerers only! “In this case we want to publish content to existing WHS Internet Information Services (IIS) web server. Therefore we’ve to begin by activating WebDAV component of WHS as well as those found on your clients PC. The special ingredients lies within WebDAV, a protocol used to publish and manage content to WHS web server IIS or any Windows based server. WebDAV is an extension of HTTP/1.1 protocol described in RFCs 2518 and 3253. WebDAV provides following features which makes it ideal for the publication of your Outlook Calendar. It work today, but as of late Microsoft seems to have moved away from this protocol, so who knows if this’ll work in the next version of WHS.”
