Beware ‘Don’t initiate any withdrawals’ to your bank acconts. Here’s an update on the ongoing PayPal issues in India:

First off, the 2010 year has a real 'BAD' start at least for 'me & my family'; First I lost my father (untimely demise) on January 22nd. And then, after 15 days to this unfortunate and unreparable loss, when I logged on to my system, I found PayPal 'reversed payments' that I have received from the Advertisers. That's O.K. since there was no charges etc. But now its heights of everything:

1. In absence of notification or intimation anywhere, including PayPal blog and site; On Feb 5th, I have initiated a $500 withdrawal to my 'bank account'. After four days, i.e. on Feb 9th, PayPal reversed this transaction too, and to my utter surprise, PayPal credited my account with $465.98 only. And deducted $34.02 from the 'original transaction'. The story doesn’t end here:

2. Now, one of the advertiser re-issued the payment using the new 'send' option, and PayPal deducted my account with another $20 from the ‘originated payment’.

Anuj / Farhad, do you think, the way PayPal is treating 'Indian' customers, your company will continue getting business from India, atleast 'loyal customers'. Also, do you or PayPal would mind letting us (India customers) know, when we can transfer our hard earned money that's now stuck with PayPal.
