System Restore has been part of Windows for ages now, but some people have trouble in remembering the steps. Normally, to create a system restore point, you’ve to, via Control Panel, open the System Protection box and then open the System Restore utility (rstrui.exe) to create a restore point. Thre’e two easy methods to get you going with Sytem Restore functionality: First is a Quick Restore Maker app for creating a System Restore Point in Windows 7 & Vista. The app lets you name your own Restore Points – just download and extract the content and place the program folder in your Program Files folder and create a shortcut of its exe file. Second is a manual method – just create a text file, changing the extension to .vbs and pasting the following code in via notepad:
