Customer feedback for Windows 7 has been overwhelming from all fields, and retailers are no exception to this. At the National Retail Federation Conference & Expo, Microsoft heard from several Retail customers the benefits they’re finding with Windows 7. “Windows 7 features enable retailers to make users productive in the store, at headquarters, and on the road. They can enhance the customer experience by bringing new opportunities like multi-touch capabilities to their stores. PC Management becomes streamlined with easy migration options, power saving features, centralized management and virtualization capabilities.” Microsoft shared four case studies of retailer who’ve deployed Windows 7: “Ames Golf & Country Club: New OS 30-Percent Faster, More Reliable - According to Cory Strait, "We're now running and comparing three different operating systems. The new OS wins the speed contest delivering a 30% faster computing. Windows 7 is the golf equivalent of a hole-in-one." "My job isn't computers, it's running a golf course and country club. So far, Windows 7 has been extremely stable and reliable… just what I expected.”
