Haiti earthquake imagery available on Google Maps and Google Earth

Google released the most recent satellite imagery of Haiti, taken at approximately 10:27am EST on Jan 13, available as a KML overlay for Google Earth. You can download KML file and open it in Google Earth, or look at via browser plug-in. You can also open file in Google Maps.

Google tops with 72% of US searches in Dec 2009, Hitwise

Following Nielsen, Hitwise released search metrics for December 2009 “Google accounted for 72.25% of all U.S. searches conducted in the four weeks ending Jan. 2, 2010. Yahoo! Search, Bing and Ask.com received 14.83%, 8.92% and 2.54%, respectively. The remaining 66 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.48% of U.S.
