Microsoft is offering a hotfix for following issue “After you upgrade from Vista SP1 to Vista SP2 or from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2008 SP2, your computer crashes frequently and you receive the following stop error message: Stop 0x000000FE (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) | BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER. This problem usually occurs on computers that’ve NVIDIA chipsets. Additionally, this problem may occur when you perform very basic operations, such as plugging in a USB keyboard,” stated Microsoft in KB973208. “same hotfix is designed as a solution to a problem involving repeated connecting and disconnecting of a USB device to a Vista or Windows Server 2008 computer. Microsoft explains that in this scenario users can be left out without a working USB port and with a device that can no longer be detected.”
