Google launched the “Nexus One,” – “Manufactured by HTC, Nexus One features dynamic noise suppression from Audience, Inc., a large 3.7–inch OLED display for deep contrast and brilliant colors and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset for blazing speeds, five megapixel camera complete with flash and geotagging. Running on Android 2.1, that includes innovations like a voice-enabled keyboard so you can speak into any text field, fun Live Wallpapers, a 3D photo gallery for richer media experiences and lots more,” mentions Google. Phone is available for purchase in US and can be shipped to UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore. You can buy it unlocked for $529 or buy it for $179 with a T-Mobile plan. In coming months, Google will ship in many other countries and will add support for other carriers, including Verizon and Vodafone. Nexus One features Gmail updates of Android 2.0, including: Multiple Gmail accounts: Sync multiple accounts to same device and switch between them without leaving the app; Undo: A handy 'undo' link makes it easier to retrieve messages when you hit archive or delete by mistake; Quick contact badge: Press contact status icon within Gmail, and a handy box shows all ways you can reply to a contact — including email, chat, SMS, and Facebook. Nexus One ships with latest version of Google Maps, Navigation, Google Latitude, layers, and labs. Maps are more readable, and satellite and street-level imagery look amazing.

Google Voice comes pre-installed on Nexus One. Existing Google Voice users can log-in and access their voicemail transcriptions and messages right away. A karaoke-style interface lets you replay any part of a message, without needing to listen to whole voicemail. You make international calls, since the app is synchronized with web, you can access your voicemail messages from any computer. If you’ve a Google phone number, you can display this number as caller ID on outbound calls. Additionally, you can send and receive text messages using Google Voice app for free.

YouTube mobile experience on Nexus One, is smoother and faster than ever before. You can shoot a DVD-quality video and upload it to YouTube with just a few taps, as well as search millions of YouTube videos and watch them in seconds.
