Accept License Terms to install 3. Tool installs into %windir%\MPSReports\VirtualMachineManager folder Usage: 1. Start tracing on all machines (you should always get trace on VMM Server): a. Open an elevated command window and CD to %windir%\MPSReports\VirtualMachineManager\bin directory b. Run “StartVerbose.cmd” 2. Reproduce problem 3. Sto/m:cssvmmr2p tracing and collect log files: a. Do it only on VMM Server, login with admin privilege on all machines where logs need to be collected b. Open command window and CD to %windir%\MPSReports\VirtualMachineManager\bin c. Run “mpsrpt.cmd /m:*” Note: This command’ll collect data from all hosts and VMM Server d. Alternatively, use following command to specify individual machines to collect data e. Run “mpsrpt.cmd /m:vmm_server:host_server:” 4. Send report – a. Read readme.txt to see list of information that’re being collected b. Find cab files in %windir%\MPSReports\VirtualMachineManager\rpt\cab\[YYYY-MM-DD] folder c. Send latest cab file if you’ve more than one.
