VSS and ASR documentation on MSDN and TechNet Updated
Here’s a summary of recent additions and revisions to the Volume Shadow Copy (VSS) and Automated System Recovery (ASR) documentation on MSDN and TechNet:
- The following new API elements have been documented:
- IVssComponentEx2 interface
- IVssCreateExpressWriterMetadata interface
- IVssExpressWriter interface
- CVssWriterEx2 class
- VSS_RECOVERY_OPTIONS enumeration
- CreateVssExpressWriter function
- IVssHardwareSnapshotProviderEx::ResyncLuns method
- A new topic, "Using Tracing Tools with VSS" was added.
- The Remarks sections for the following methods have been completely rewritten:
