If you visit Bing Maps you may notice a new look & feel. Specifically, the navigation bar is now black to match the Bing color set. Here’s a quick list of new features you may not notice right off: Silverlight Control, Draggable Routes, Zoom Bar, Command Parsing, Embed a Map, Dynamic Compute, New Navigation - There’s now a subset of features on button bar along bottom of welcome pane: “Welcome” loads the welcome pane, “Car” loads driving directions, “Star” loads My Places, formerly called Collections, “Envelop” loads the ability to share the map with someone via email, copy a URI or embed the map into a web page, “Printer” is for printing, “Traffic light” will load the traffic overlay,
….World Wrap, and Diet Bing Maps - The default Bing Maps home page dropped from 678kb to 484kb. It zips through the pipes much faster now.
