Google added a layer that overlays NYC subway routes on Google Maps for Mobile (BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian S60) to help you quickly navigate NY city subway system. To turn it on, just point Google Maps to somewhere in NY, click on "More..." button at top-right, and select "Transit". You can also get step-by-step public transit directions by using "Get Directions" menu, and then selecting public transit icon. Colorful lines aren't just pretty to look at, they're also interactive. When you click on any station name, a bubble pops up with names of line that service the station, and all other lines on the screen fade out.
