Microsoft announced that MSNBot 2.0b enters full-scale production, that’ll enable Bing to do a better job at gathering information needed from myriad of websites Bing index worldwide. As MSNBot 2.0b is now fully operational, Bing is retireing MSNBot 1.1. by end of first week in Nov, you’ll no longer see following user agent in your referrer logs: msnbot/1.1 (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm) and instead you’ll see new bot: msnbot/2.0b (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm).
