Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and Outlook Standards documentation’s intended for use in conjunction with publicly available standard specifications and network programming art, and assumes that reader either’s familiar with aforementioned material or has immediate access to it. A protocol specification doesn’t require use of Microsoft programming tools or programming environments in order for you to develop an implementation. If you’ve access to Microsoft programming tools and environments you’re free to take advantage of them.
