Zune HD comes with a built-in HD Radio receiver / video, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) multi-touch screen, Wi-Fi and an Internet browser. If own a Zune HD, then check following two new custom profiles for Windows Live Movie Maker that let you save movies in a format perfect for Zune HD.

  • Zune HD – Device,” creates a WMV files with a bitrate and resolution that matches default for Zune HD device (480x272).
  • Zune HD – 720p High Definition,” is optimized for playing back content on your HDTV via Zune HD AV Dock. This uses a higher bitrate and more advanced Windows Media codecs (WMA 10 Pro & WMV Advanced Profile) than standard 720p profile already built into Movie Maker.

To install: 1. Download zip file here, and extract files (ZuneHDNative.prx, ZuneHDNative.ico, ZuneHD720p.prx, ZuneHD720p.ico, HD Fullscreen.prx) to a new folder 2. Copy these files to one of following locations on your computer: • 32-bit version of Windows: C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Photo Gallery\Video Profiles • 64-bit version of Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Photo Gallery\Video Profiles 3. Restart Windows Live Movie Maker.
