Google Earth been used as a tool to help people change the world. To celebrate individuals and organizations that’ve used Google Earth in their efforts to effect change, Google announced ‘Google Earth heroes project’ with initial highlight of five groups: Project Kaisei, Save the Elephants, Borneo Orangutan Survival, Chief Almir and the Surui and Appalachian Voices.
