To celebrate 3rd anniversary of Custom Search Engine (CSE), Google have released:

1. Custom Search Themes lets you customize look & feel of your search results page. Go to control panel and select one of predefined themes that broadly matches the look and feel of your site. If standard themes’re not what you want, you can make further changes, just download the CSS, tweak it in a text editor, and host the CSS in your site. You can make your search results page blend with style of rest of your website. There's also a compact layout for a great mobile experience when using an Android-powered phone, iPhone, iPod Touch or Palm Pre. When you create a Custom Search engine, a mobile home page’s automatically created for you.
2. With Structured Custom Search special attributes, such as Thumbnails and Actions, will be rendered in Custom Search results. More exciting, you can now restrict your search results by specific attributes, based on the metadata that you provide. Custom metadata attributes and custom query restricts’ll make your searches truly structured, noted CSE blog.
3. Wikipedia Custom Search Skin provides highly contextual search results when you search within Wikipedia. You get Google search across all Wikipedia articles as well as topical results based on links on Wikipedia article you’re currently reading.
