Cooliris announced support for Microsoft’s Bing search engine, specifically for its Image Search feature. This plugin displays a “3D wall” of images which you can scroll through horizontally while also interacting with content itself. It’s more focused on providing a visual experience while Bing’s visual search’s still more focused on helping you find a specific image thanks to its filters and sorting options. In addition, new enhancements’ve been added to Cooliris Internet Explorer plugin to improve performance. According to company, image searches’ performance’ve improved up to 30% with updated plugin, and they’ll soon support Bing Video searches, too, but haven’t revealed an exact date yet.
