Sven Knockaert and Roel Van Steenberghe of Kaho Sint-Lieven, an IT university in Ghent, Belgium talks about their implementation of virtualization with Hyper-V 2008 R2 and SCVMM. Hundreds of students each’ve at least 4 virtual machines running on Hyper-V. Students can manage their virtual environment with self-service portal in SCVMM. Roel discusses implementation and use of IIS7. He explains how the concept of webfarms with IIS7 helps students serve individual webspaces to hundreds of other students.
