In Windows 7, working with printers, cameras, phones, music players and other devices has never been easier thanks to two new features: Device Stage and the Devices and Printers folder. With new Ringtone Editor, part of Device Stage, you can make ringtones from songs and sound files already on your PC—or get creative with your own recordings. Want to use a track of your dog barking? No problem. You can even make it fade in and fade out. If your phone supports it, you can also preview a ringtone, save it directly to the phone, set it as your primary ring, or assign it to one or more of your contacts. To use Ringtone Editor, your phone must be compatible with Device Stage and support creating custom ringtones using Device Stage.
