Stephen has unearthed a slide in a recent Office 2010 presentation detailing Windows Mobile 7 Spring 2010 RTM time frame, and “Office Mobile 2010 (Office Mobile 7)”. According to a mock-up of Office Mobile 2010, Microsoft’s planning to include mobile versions of its OneNote note-taking app and its SharePoint collaboration products to the next Office Mobile suite. “Office Mobile is a mini version of Microsoft Office that’s tailored to run on Windows Mobile phones. The most recent version of Office Mobile is Version 6.1, and comes preloaded on a number of Windows Mobile phones.” If Microsoft follows this plan, that’ll help company in differentiating Office Mobile from Office Web Apps that includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote (but not SharePoint), noted M.J. Foley.
