Capgemini and Microsoft announced ERP+, a strategic, multimillion euro initiative that’s expected to maximize their customers’ return on investment from their existing SAP installations. With this, Capgemini will extend its portfolio of ERP solutions, enabling it to complement ERP services, regardless of technology, and enable broader access for more customer employees, regardless of location, industry or role. Specifically, ERP + enables companies to combine the power of SAP and ease of use of Microsoft Office and SharePoint technologies, Windows phone and Microsoft Application Platform products to do the following: •Increase employee access to SAP data from the desktop and mobility devices •Improve worker productivity by reducing data re-entry and easily automating unstructured business processes •Reduce IT costs by enabling reuse of existing Microsoft software licenses and reduced user training costs
