Microsoft and YuLong Computer Telecommunication Scientific Co. Ltd. (YuLong Telecommunication) announced a patent licensing agreement that enables YuLong Telecommunication to integrate Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol on the company’s mobile phones. By licensing Exchange ActiveSync, YuLong Telecommunication can provide mobile users with the ability to synchronize e-mails, calendars, contacts and notes between mobile devices and Microsoft Exchange Server using Exchange ActiveSync direct push technology. YuLong Telecomunication is the largest Windows CE phone original equipment manufacturer in China, and as a result of this agreement plans to release Coolpad brand handsets pre-installed with Microsoft direct push technology.
