Microsoft SQL Server Driver for PHP 1.1 is released and provide support for PHP ver 5.3. This driver’ll enable developers to build PHP applications with relational database capabilities to both SQL Server as well as SQL Azure databases. There’re some key performance improvements as well as new features such as support for UTF-8 encoding and scrollable result sets. Microsoft has also published the source code to the driver on the CodePlex site. There, you can download the source code and provide feedback in the form of bug reports and feature requests.
