Google Maps updates base map data of United States
Google made significant changes to Google Maps base map dataset in the US, and added a lot of new, detailed information to Google Maps. “The data that powers API features like geocoding and driving directions is updated too, so if you're using client-side geocoding in browser, your app’ll automatically start using new data. If using HTTP geocoder and caching any retrieved data, you should re-geocode with the new data as soon as possible,” Geo Developer blog. Also, added a tool that lets you communicate directly with Google about any updates that you think need to be made to maps. You'll find "Report a Problem" link on bottom right of Google Maps.
