Hasbro announced a competition that gives Monopoly-lovers the chance to design a building that’ll be included in the new interactive game Monopoly City Streets. To enter the competition, you need to design a 3D building using Google SketchUp and upload it to the Google 3D Warehouse. The deadline to submit entries is Oct 6, 2009 at 11:59pm, EST. Prizes include: global MONOPOLY fame and fortune, Google SketchUp Pro 7 license (US $495 value), and two runners-up’ll have their models used in the online game of MONOPOLY City Streets.

    If you want to see the Monopoly competition buildings on your iPhone in 3D, you can do so with NaviCAD (http://www.navicad.com). Just type in "monopolycompetition09" in the search interface and tap a result. Note that NaviCAD is only a viewing/navigating app. Any suggestions are welcome--send an email to feedback@navicad.com.
