Early 2009, Columbus State University, Columbus, Georgia, using Google Apps Education Edition and has since successfully implemented Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sites and Google Video on campus. However, a recent campus survey revealed that the students preferred to communicate with school via cell phone andPDA. To offer live information, they integrated Google Mobile Apps with Student Information System using Google’s online developer kit, and now provide information in real-time from Student Information System onto cell phones and PDAs.
