Google added some cool new features to YouTube online video service:

  • Resume where you left off lets you begin watching the video, where you left off, assuming a video is longer than 20 minutes, and you've watched more than one minute of the video and there’re more than three minutes left.
  • "Trending Topic" spotlight on a category's browse page or at bottom of the page, when there’s a spike in searches on a given topic.
  • Sticky HQ will remember you selection when you "go wide" it will persist across your session.
  • "Show More Comments" link at the bottom of comments, when clicked, quickly appends 10 more comments to the end of the list.
  • To Subscribe to Shows, Movie Trailers – just go to its About page, click Subscribe, and episodes that hit your inbox’ll indicate the name of the show (as opposed to the name of the channel or provider). In addition, you can also subscribe to our movie trailers page to never miss any of these film promos.
  • Films in movies section can now display vertical poster art if the partner provides it.
