Microsoft announced that Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) 2009 R2 will be released in late Oct 2009 through Microsoft Volume Licensing Site (MVLS), and’ll add Windows 7 support for all components except for MED-V. Server and management components’ll also support Windows Server 2008 R2
