Facebook’s tagging feature gives you the ability to identify and reference people in photos, videos and notes. In addition to Facebook Lite in US & India, the company also added a new way to tag people and other things you're connected to on Facebook in status updates and other posts from the Publisher. Now, when you’re writing a status update and want to add a friend's name to something you are posting, just include the "@" symbol beforehand. As you type the name of what you would like to reference, a drop-down menu’ll appear that allows you to choose from your list of friends and other connections, including groups, events, applications and Pages. Soon, you'll be able to tag friends from applications as well. The "@" symbol’ll not be displayed in published status update or post after you've added your tags.

In addition, Facebook added a new “Fax This Photo,” feature powered by efax.com. Now when you’re looking through photo albums, you’ll have the opportunity to send a photo you like to a friend’s fax machine. For price of $1.50 per photo.
