Apple’s at its annual Music Event, in San Francisco, announced the adjustment in their iPod line and an update to iTunes. iPod touch features Apple’s revolutionary Multi-Touch user interface, a gorgeous 3.5-inch widescreen glass display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a built-in accelerometer and speaker—all in an amazingly thin metal design that slips easily into your pocket. Apple dropped the price of the 8GB iPod touch to $199, and said it would offer 32GB and 64GB versions for $299 and $399, respectively -- effectively doubling the capacity at both price points.

The iPod Nano will now have a video camera, microphone, built-in speaker, Cover Flow, Genius Mix, and Voice Over support, allowing you to read out the names of songs as they’re played. The Nano also has a build-in pedometer and voice recorder. The Nanos come in red, pink, orange, silver, black, purple, blue, green, and yellow. They will cost $179 for 16GB and $149 for the 8GB.
