Going forwared all 7.5 million blogs on WordPress.com, and any WordPress.org blogs that opt-in will now have a new features called RSS Cloud, which’s basically a way for RSS readers to get instant notification that feed has updated. Currently, there’s only one RSS aggregator that supports RSSCloud, River2, and LazyFeed . “Other support for people to get push notifications via (Jabber, email, Weblogs.com pings, SUP, pubsubhubbub, Twitter etc.) will be introduced soon, making blogging a more real-time experience,” announced. WordPress.org users can use this plugin to make instant updates available to any RSS readers.
