Google Apps Script is now available to all Google Apps Premier and Education Edition (Edu domains) customers, who’ll now see "Scripts" in the Google Spreadsheets "Tools" menu. Apps Script provides the ability to automate a variety of features in Google Apps, such as reading and changing values in Google Spreadsheets, creating Google Calendar appointments, sending email and much more. A nice user example’s a bureaucracy-busting Expense Approval Script, which expands one of the tutorials assembled to help people see how to use Google Apps Script.
