Microsoft released Group Chat QFE1 contains updates for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Group Chat. This hotfix’s described in KBarticles 969819, 969818, and 969817 – provides key features and performance enhancements that elevate OCS Group Chat to an enterprise grade product.

OCS Group Chat lets organizations set up searchable, topic-based chat rooms that persist over time, allowing geographically distributed teams to better collaborate with one another while preserving organizational knowledge. The Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Software Development Kit (SDK) includes documentation and sample applications developed with the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 platform.
