Microsoft announced that the certification results’ve been published, and Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V role’s now certified at the Common Criteria level EAL4 augmented by ALC_FLR.3 (also known as EAL4+)!, reported. According to Wikipedia “The Common Criteria certification’s a framework in which computer system users can specify their security requirements, vendors can then implement and/or make claims about the security attributes of their products, and testing laboratories can evaluate the products to determine if they actually meet the claims.” If you’re so inclined, you can read the published document here.
