The DAYS360 function in Google Docs Spreadsheets calculates the difference between two given dates. In the example, we’ll be calculating the no of days left between today and NFL season first regular game on September 13th. In this case, to enter today's date, we use TODAY function and just type "=TODAY()" into a cell A2, and the function returns "8/7/09." Next we use DAYS360 function, syntax for DAYS360 is "=DAYS360(date_1, date_2, type)" — the function should look like this: "=DAYS360(A2, B4)".
